AgAu Jewellery aim to dispatch your order within 4 working days of your order being placed. Unless your total value is more than £2000, please see PAYMENTS for more details.
All items are sent to the address stated in the order, if you use PayPal this needs to be changed on your PayPal account prior to ordering. Please see our SHIPPING PAGE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
Payments
You can pay for your order by Credit Card, Debit Card, AMEX, PayPal, PayPal Pay Later (if eligible - this is a service offered by PayPal and AgAu Jewellery have no control on the acceptance of this payment method. PayPal Pay Later, pay AgAu Jewellery in full and the payment credit is with PayPal, any refunds will be credited back to your PayPal account), BACS or Cash.
Please note on occasion, if paying by Credit Card for items over £2,000, that items will not be shipped until funds have cleared. This can take 3-5 days. Items over £2,000 may also occasionally require proof of address.
It is safe to use your credit card with us. We use a secure server for inputting your details and have made every precaution to make your transaction secure. Alternatively, you can call us on 01617061316 and submit your order by telephone.
In the unlikely event of an item going missing in the post, we will not be able to refund the item until 40 days after the date that it was first posted.
Custom Duties
The seller only takes responsibility for shipping the product, and requires the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees. Any delays in payment of duties can result in delayed or returned shipments
Holding Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable, by paying a deposit you agree to purchase the item within the agreed timeframe.
Layaway
If you wish to take advantage of our Layaway Scheme please see our LAYAWAY page for full terms of use.
Layaway is an agreement whereby we reserve an item for you until you have completed all the payments necessary to pay for your item. As in most instalment plans the customer does not receive the item until it is completely paid for.
Returns & Refunds
As this purchase has been made through the distance selling regulations you are entitled by law to cancel this order within 14 working days. We must receive the item back within 14 days for you to qualify for a refund.
We will refund you the purchase price minus 5% to cover our admin and returns processing. So you are not out of pocket we will issue a voucher to the value of the 5% fee (rounded up to the nearest whole GBP). Card processing times are normally 5-10 working days, unfortunately this is beyond our control and is standard practice with card merchants. If you have not received your refund after 15 working days from your confirmation email please get in touch. If you would prefer to pay via BACS please email us and an invoice will be sent.
Returns or credits will be processed within 5 working days of receipt and inspection of item(s). We will confirm receipt of the returned item(s) and completion of the refund by email. There are exemptions to online returns which include tailor made / personalised goods such as ring re-sizing
Please follow the steps below.

Please let AgAu Jewellery know within 14 days of the item(s) delivery by completing the RETURNS FORM online that you plan to return the item(s). This period starts the day the contract is agreed (i.e. you receive an email from us saying we have despatched your order) and ends 14 days after the day following delivery of the goods. Exclusions for pierced jewellery see above for more details.

Your returned item(s) needs to be returned with all tags (unremoved).

If the tags have been removed/cut and the item is returned it will be assumed that the item as been used and thus you may be subject to a 20% restocking fee, this allows us to professionally clean the item(s) ready for reselling. Earring with tags removed will be returned to you at your cost. Exclusions for pierced jewellery see above for more details.

You (the customer) are responsible for the return postage, unless faulty in which we will refund £9 to cover the postage. If you're returning for a fault you need to mention this when you first make contact regarding a return.

If the item goes missing in the post on the return to AgAu Jewellery it will be the responsibility of you the customer/sender to make a claim with Royal Mail. It is imperative that you keep your return postage receipt in the event you need to make a claim. AgAu Jewellery will not be liable for any refunds.

We video record all return openings for security reasons. More information/copy of the video can be obtained upon request.

Upon delivery of returned item AgAu Jewellery will check for any potential damage and after inspection will issue your refund.

Any item(s) purchased during a private viewing a credit note will be issued to use on our website and will be valid for 12 months. No cash alternative will be issued.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS WILL NEED TO BE CLEARLY MARKED AS ANTIQUE RETURN.
Failure to do so will result in an import duty charge, which will be deducted from any refund amount.

Extended Returns for Special Occasions
We offer an extended returns policy if your item(s) is for a special occasion. Please speak to us 01617061316 or email hello@agaujewellery.com prior to purchasing. After your standard 14 days return any return up to the agreed date will be processed as follows; you will receive an credit note for the value of the item purchased minus a £10 processing fee.
Christmas Extended Returns
If your item is purchased between 1st November and 22nd December in any given year, in addition to our standard terms of sale and return policy you will have an extended return automatically applied to your purchase, meaning you have until January 10th` to inform us you wish to return your purchase.. After your standard 14 days return any return up to January 10th will be processed as follows; you will receive an “credit note” for the value of the item purchased minus a £10 processing fee.
Pierced Jewellery
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of earrings if the tamper proof packaging has been opened. This is for hygiene reasons and does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty items. We ship earrings in a clear bag so you're able to inspect them. Only if the tamper proof sticker, and signed sticker are intact will be be able to process a refund. Any returns sent without this will be returned to you at your cost, We will send you an invoice for postage if this is required.
Sale and Clearance
Items returned that have a discount of 50% or more or sold as a CLEARANCE ITEM will be refunded as a credit note for you to use on agaujewellery.com within 24 months of the issue date. CLEARANCE items are marked with a CLEARANCE label within the SKU for example 'CLEARANCE 112585' SEE CREDIT NOTE REFUND FOR DETAILS
Black Friday Sale (Clearance)
Items sold under within the BLACK FRIDAY sale will be refunded as a credit note for you to use on agaujewellery.com within 24 months of the issue date. Black Friday items are marked with a CLEARANCE label within the SKU for example 'CLEARANCE 112585' SEE CREDIT NOTE REFUND FOR DETAILS
Invoice and BACS
If you do not want any processing fees to be charged upon any return, we recommend purchasing via invoice and BACS payment as NO fees are applied and therefore a full refund of the purchase price will be issued. BACS refunds are normally processed with 2 working days.
Online Purchases
(excluding Sale and Clearance Returns)

Exchanges
We are happy to offer an exchange of any item instead of a refund, a full purchase price credit note will be issued for you to use on agaujewellery.com within 24 months of the issue date.
Purchases Made in Person
Any item purchased during a private viewing a credit note will be issued to use on our website agaujewellery.com and will be valid for 24 months. No cash alternative will be issued.
How our 'credit note' works

A unique code will be issued to the purchase price of your returned item.

This code is valid for 24 months from the date of issue.

The code has no cash value and can be redeemed on agaujewellery.com only.

You may use this code on all purchases (except gift card purchases) for full and part payment. Should your new purchase be of a lesser value, the remaining balance will be issued via a new unique code. This code will issued by our admin team and emailed to you within 2 working days after your purchase. This new code will have the same expiration date as the original code.

If you wish to return any item purchased using a “credit note code” you have the same 14 days to return.

Any return will have a £10 admin fee deducted from your new “credit note code”.
