18ct Gold/Plat Large Oval Cut Cornflower Sapphire (3.50ct) and Diamond Ring

A Art Deco 18ct Gold/Platinum Large Oval Cut Cornflower Sapphire (3.50ct) and Diamond Ring. The ring is set with an old oval cut cornflower sapphire approx (3.50ct), the sapphire is super quality with excellent clarity and a stunning cornflower colour. On each side of the sapphire are 3 (1.5 point) old mined cut diamonds set in platinum, totalling approximately (0.10ct) The ring is unmarked however fully tested for 18ct gold and platinum, this is not unusual for a piece dating from C.1920's (prior to the hallmarking regulations). The face of the ring measures 1.2cm in length x 1.3cm in width and the ring weighs 2.3 grams. The ring is a size N 1/2 and can be easily resized. The ring is in excellent condition.
