A beautiful but delicate 9ct Gold Georgian Red Carnelian Solitaire Ring C.1760-80's. The ring is set with an oval cut cabochon red carnelian approx (1.00ct) the stone is foiled at the back of it which is consistent of its age. The ring is unmarked however has been fully tested for 9ct gold, this piece is Georgian C.1760-80's, so produced well before the hallmarking regulations. The face of the ring measures 0.5cm length x 1.3cm width and the ring weighs 1.1 grams. The ring is a size O. The ring is in excellent condition.
